Paddington to Kensington
โฑ 32 minutes
On this walk, you can enjoy the stunning sights of Kensington Gardens and maybe even treat yourself to a spot of shopping at the end:
- From Paddington station, walk towards Lancaster Gate where you’ll find the entrance to Kensington Gardens๐ท
- Once you’ve enjoyed the sights, head towards the corner of the park where you can join Kensington Highstreet ๐
Hyde Park to South Kensington
โฑ 33 minutes
This is nice and simple, but that doesnโt mean thereโs nothing to see on the way:
- From Paddington Station, head towards Westbourne Street where you enter Hyde Park ๐ณ
- Head south through the park, past the world-famous Victoria and Albert Museum and towards South Kensington Station ๐ผ
Green Park to Piccadilly
โฑ 23 minutes
This walk takes you past Buckingham Palace and through to Green Park station. Itโs the perfect way to add some exercise to your journey and see a few sites along the way:
- Take a minute to admire Buckingham Palace, then continue towards Canada Gate, the grand entrance to Green Park
- Walk through the park where youโll see Canada memorial, built to commemorate the one million Canadians who served with British forces in both world wars
- The walk ends in the corner of the park where youโll reach Green Park station. You can either get on the Tube here or continue your walk through Piccadilly ๐ฟ
St James’s Park to Charing Cross
โฑ 25 minutes
Try this walk full of amazing flowers and wildlife (and maybe even a pelican or two) – perfect for some stress relief:
- Leave Victoria station and walk down Buckingham Palace Road where youโll reach the corner of St Jamesโs Park on Birdcage Walk ๐ฆ
- After walking across the Blue Bridge, youโll pass Duck Island towards the corner of the park to the famous Mall where youโll reach Charing Cross station ๐
