The Top 7 Moments for TfL in 2023

As we say goodbye to 2023, it’s time to reflect on the remarkable moments that defined the year for Transport for London. 🤩

1. Zero-Emission Milestone: 1000th Bus Hits The Road

TfL proudly welcomed our 1000th zero-emission bus to its fleet, meaning London now has the largest zero-emission bus fleet in Western Europe.

Since 2021, all new vehicles joining the fleet are zero-emission, and now more than one in ten of our buses emit no fumes! 👏

2. Windrush 75th Anniversary: A Carnival Redesign

Notting Hill Carnival became the canvas for a vibrant celebration of Windrush’s 75th anniversary, as TfL unveiled a fresh redesign on a London bus! 🚍

This colourful tribute not only added a festive spirit to the streets but also paid homage to the rich cultural tapestry that is an integral part of London’s identity.
