Late night Climbing in Croydon 🧗‍♂️

A whole venue, just for playing boardgames, what a treat! Why not try a new way to socialise this year with a traditional twist by heading to Draughts. With two venues to choose from in Waterloo and Hackney, Draughts gives you access to hundreds of games. Ranging from the classics to the more obscure options, there’s something for everyone! The staff are also on hand to give ideas of games to try, some you may never even of heard of.

Go for a winter dip at Hampton Pool 🏊‍♂️

Although January may not seem like the right time to start swimming outdoors, Hampton Pool is heated all year round! This means you can perfect your breaststroke without getting too cold. After a long time spent indoors, eating mince pies, it’s a great opportunity to get some mood-boosting exercise outside.

The pool is located in Bushy Park so you can also take the chance to go for a stroll afterwards.

Beat the January blues at Top Secret Comedy Club 🎭

Although it could be dubbed as comedy’s worst kept secret, this West End venue offers stand-up comedy every day of the week. Wednesday is their new material night, where a rotating cast of comedians try out some fresh jokes, you may even spot a famous face practicing their new set 😉

If you’re looking to beat those January blues or even give stand-up a go yourself, this is sure to be a great experience.

Catch the latest films at Peckhamplex 🎥

A firm favourite with Londoners, this friendly, independent multi-screen cinema has a huge variety of films to offer. Peckhamplex prides itself on offering good value, and its regular tickets are some of the cheapest around.

As well as showing the big releases, there’s a good selection of arthouse and foreign language films too.
