Next in our series of scenic cycle rides is the lovely Wandle Trail in South West London.
We rode a 7 mile section of this route between Earlsfield and Hackbridge. There are train stations at each end so it’s easy to reach with your bike if you’re coming from somewhere else. The whole trail is 12 miles if you’re feeling energetic!
Next in our hand-picked cycling route series is the beautiful Colne Valley Park.
The eight mile, mostly car-free route is set in Colne Valley Park, a 27,500 acre area of peaceful, tranquil parks, green spaces and reservoirs between the River Colne and the Grand Union Canal. It’s a circular route starting at Uxbridge and with lots of open space is a great place to get back on your bike if you haven’t cycled for a while.
Next in our hand-picked cycling route series is the gorgeous, leafy Lee Valley Artway in North East London.
Set within the beautiful 10,000 acre River Lea Country Park, this 5 mile car-free route has lots of striking sculptures scattered throughout the ride for you to spot.
