Walk through London’s greenest suburbs. This 78-mile route has been divided into 15 manageable walks, encompassing Richmond Park, Wimbledon, Crystal Palace Park, Eltham Palace and more.

Green Chain

Explore south east London’s greenest places on the Green Chain walk. Spread across 50 miles where you can experience dozens of woodlands and parks along the way. Highlights include the 18th century Severndroog Castle nestled in the ancient Oxleas Woods, the Horniman Museum and Gardens and bird watching at Southmere. 

Jubilee Greenway

Created to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Games, the Jubilee Greenway is a fantastic way to explore London. These routes link the Olympic and Paralympic Games venues including The O2 Arena, Greenwich Park and the Serpentine. 

Jubilee Walkway

This 15 mile stretch of central London’s most iconic landmarks feature on this tourist-friendly walking trail. Broken into five circular sections, you’ll find yourself strolling past St Paul’s, Buckingham Palace, Sir John Soane’s Museum and Tower Bridge.  

Lea Valley

Enjoy a glimpse into Britain’s industrial waterway past on the Lea Valley trail. Follow the Lee Navigation towpath from Waltham Abbey to the Thames at Limehouse Valley. Make the most of it on a blue-space walk.  

London Loop

If you fancy a challenge, walk 150 miles of the London Outer Orbital Path in 24 stages. This epic route encircles Greater London. It’s one of the greatest!

Thames Path

River walking at its best. Enjoy this 40-mile stretch along the Northbank and Southbank of the River Thames. From the historic Hampton Court Palace, through to the heart of London and East India Dock.
