📍Highgate Cemetery

There at least 850 notable people buried at Highgate including 18 Royal Academicians, 6 Lord Mayors of London and 48 Fellows of the Royal Society. Although perhaps its most famous occupant is Karl Marx.

  1. 1. Waterloo – London Eye and The South Bank Centre. 2. Tottenham Court Road is one of several stations very close to the British Museum (also Russell Square and Holborn on different lines). 3. Moorgate is one of multiple stations within easy walking distance of the Barbican Centre and the Museum of London.4. Tooting Bec is home to Tooting Bec and Tooting Graveney commons and Tooting Lido (and was my home station for over 20 years). 5. King’s Cross St Pancras – Platform 9 3/4 (Harry Potter). These are just a few of the things you have missed.
