Central London winter wanders
To start, why not stroll along the South Bank, from the London Eye to Borough Market, marvel at the magic of Covent Garden, or for a longer route, walk from South Kensington to Soho, passing the famous museums, shops in Knightsbridge and parks in Mayfair.
Get some fresh air on your lunch break and escape for 30 minutes with one of the central London Footways.
There’s also many wonderful walks through parks. The Royal Parks are free to go to and enjoy. Immerse yourself in nature and watch squirrels scurry along the frosty grass.
Greater London walks
If you’re based outside central London, enjoy a stroll along the Thames Path, starting at Hampton Court, heading towards Staines. Or follow The Oak Trail in Epping Forest (you might even spot some deer here!). 🍂
For longer walks, some of the popular Walk London routes are a must. Get up early and watch the winter sun rise on the Green Chain Walk which stretches from the River Thames to Nunhead Cemetery, spanning the fields, parks and woodland areas of the 50-mile area. Or wrap up warm and start a journey around the Capital Ring where you can explore many parks and marshes, and even have a relaxing stroll next to the Grand Union Canal.
