It’s that dreamy time of year again when our streets and parks are washed in a romantic autumnal palette. Londoners and visitors alike enjoy the charming atmosphere, crunching leaves underfoot and strolling past the Thames covered in early morning mist. Soak up some scenery

Speaking of crunching leaves, kick off your Autumn acivities with a leafy stroll or cycle in the park 🚶🍂🚴.

Totally Thames Festival

Enjoy a month-long programme of exciting events celebrating the River Thames in September! 🙌

The yearly Totally Thames festival is curated and managed by the Thames Festival Trust. It covers a range of arts and cultural activities, talks, walks and boat rides 🛥️.

Open House London

21 & 22 September

Open House London, the world’s largest architecture festival, returns this year to bring you free access to sites across the Capital not normally open to the public!

In previous years, fabulous sites such as St Paul’s Cathedral, the BT Tower and Australia House – aka Harry Potter’s enchanting Gringotts Bank 🧙 – have been open for your viewing pleasure.

Get ready for fun-filled activities with hundreds of sites to choose from featuring walks, talks and tours over one weekend!

Reimagine Car free Day

22 September

The Mayor of London invites all of London to enjoy our streets at this brand new event, on 22 September, celebrating World Car Free Day! 🚫🚗

There’s fun for everyone with free entertainment and activities such as cycling, fitness and dancing, pop-up playgrounds, guided walking tours, live entertainment and more!

Reimagine is an opportunity for Londoners to cycle, walk and use public transport to help improve health and reduce car emissions 🏃🚲.

Spooky Halloween festivities

As October comes along, things start to get spooky in London 🎃.

Whether you’re attending a party or planning one, you’re bound to encounter a ghoul or two in the days leading up to 31 October! 🕯️

If you’re keen to get into the spirit of things, be sure to check out all the spooky events happening around London such as the gravestones at Highgate Cemetery, the menacing grin of the Parkland Walk Spriggan, or the creepy West Norwood Cemetery Catacombs 😱.
